On July 24, 2015 the State Agency that is in charge of Marijuana Regulation will officially change its name to, “Liquor and Cannabis Board.”  The State Agency, before known as just the “Washington State Liquor Control Board.

Say Hello To Cannabis!

Say Hello To Cannabis!

This agency, formed in 1934, has been regulating the use of Recreational Weed since November of 2012, when laws had finally passed, making this Popular-To-Many Habit, Legal!

By July 26,2015, this newly named Washington State Board has been assigned the mission, and must choose which unlicensed providers and retailers will be granted the licenses to sell Marijuana recreationally.  The agency has taken a rough estimation that about 50% of the 825 Unlicensed Shops that have applied, will be considered, let alone permitted the License!

So many to choose from!

The Selection Process will be Merit-Based, meaning that in order to even be considered you will have to be one of the Original Dispensaries ( Before 2013) and must also have already applied for your Recreational License. The Dispensary must also be completely up to date, and must have paid all of their Taxes.  There are easy, over 1000 locations that exist, that won’t even qualify for Licensing! There is No Room For The Newbies.

Within this new law, there will also be made a Medicinal Patient Registry, which will better protect Licensed Patients from any potential issues and allow them to possess more Marijuana that the Legal Recreational Limits! ….”A friend with Weed, is a friend Indeed.” ….Especially when its the Strong Legal Stuff!
